Sponsor Information Dear Business Owner or Manager: The interest in Cuban-American heritage has never been greater. From chart-busting recording artists to cover magazine features, the salsa dance craze and Mojitos, many of today's hottest trends link directly to that heritage. Key West has over 150 years of Cuban-American heritage to share with today's market, including South Florida's Hispanic population of over one million. The Sixth Annual Cuban American Heritage Festival, running June 12-18, in Key West, features a week of cultural fun. The exciting, family-oriented events include a Symposium at the Gato Museum, the world's only Coast-to-Coast Conga Line, book signings, cigar dinner and a live Latin Salsa Party. The festival will generate an estimated $2 million in positive publicity for Key West and the Florida Keys. Marketing efforts include distribution of over 100,000 pieces of collateral, and festival exposure to over 12,000 travel and trade professionals. We thank all our sponsor's and Key West for its support of this year's Festival. The Festival aims to generate revenue during a traditionally slow time for Monroe County businesses. What's more, the Festival helps secure Key West's position on the changing map of Caribbean tourist destinations. But we still need sponsorship support from businesses like yours. Cuban American Heritage Festival is a 501(c)(3) non profit corporation. All donations are tax-deductible. Part of the net proceeds from the Festival will go toward a scholarship fund for students residing in Monroe County who wish to pursue Cuban American studies. Please see how you can become a part of an event whose time has truly come. Fred Salinero
